11 Weapons that changed war Aesthetics forever

The weapons in Defense System of almost every nation has seen significant changes since World War II.Various governments along with the private players are constantly upgrading their arsenal.Nowadays there is a constant threat of even a biological war breaking out.

In the list below I have tried to mention some of the most lethal and widely used weapons that have ever been manufactured.These weapons have replaced the conventional combat mechanism with a much deadlier one.

1.MP5: (Heckler & Koch, Germany)

The  MP5 is a 9mm submachine gun of German design, developed in the 1960s by a team of engineers from the Germany.There are over 100 variants of the MP5, including some semi-automatic versions.

The MP5 is one of the most widely used submachine guns in the world, having been adopted by 40 nations and numerous military, law enforcement, intelligence, and security organizations.


Glock is undoubtedly the most widely used close proximity weapon in the world today.Glocks Command almost 65% of the market share of handguns for law enforcement agencies world over, as well as supplying numerous national armed forces, security agencies, and police forces in at least 48 countries.Glocks are also popular firearms among civilians for recreational and competition shooting, home and self-defense.

3.M16(U.S. Ordnance)

M16 rifle, officially designated Rifle, Caliber 5.56 mm, M16, is a United States military adaptation of the Armalite AR-15 rifle.Widely in use, almost 8 million units produced so far.It is probably one of the most preferred combat rifles of the US defense forces and in high demand in the global defense market.

4.UZI(Lyttelton Engineering Works)

The Uzi is an open-bolt, blowback-operated submachine gun.Light and Handy to use, yet powerful to the core.Originated from the mighty ISRAEL widely used in all parts of the world especially in the USA and Europian countries.


Barrett introduced the M82 in 1982 but did not make any significant sales until 1989. These first large sales were to Sweden. Soon afterward, the M82 was purchased by the United States armed forces, and it was deployed in the Gulf War. Today the company has contracts with dozens of countries to supply sniper rifles.The success of the M82A1 has led the company to develop several other models of .50 BMG rifles, including the M95, M99, and M99-1. These are lighter and lower cost bolt-action rifles.


Design work on the AK-47 began in the last year of World War II (1945). In 1946, the AK-47 was presented for official military trials, and in 1948, the fixed-stock version was introduced into active service with selected units of the Soviet Army.There are approximately 75 million units built so far.It the most highly used firearm today.

More than a weapon, it is an accessory which facilitates neutralizing close combat situations.It has a steel hinge and an LED screen/camera system that allows a pistol to be aimed and fired around a corner, allowing users to shoot from complete cover without exposing themselves.

8.RPG(Soviet Union)

The RPG-7 is a portable, reusable, unguided,shoulder-launched, anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade launcher.It is extremely popular world over. The original RPG is based on the German Panzerfaust anti-tank weapon.It has a moderate firing range with solid armor piercing capabilities.It’s a lethal weapon mostly used in the regions of IRAQ nowadays.Approximately 9,000,000 units built so far.

9.Tomahawk Missiles(Raytheon Co, USA)

One of the primary missiles of USAs defense arsenal, Each Tomahawk missile, made by Raytheon Co.costs about $1 million, according to experts.The U.S. used 59 of them on a Syrian air base in response to the Syrian government’s chemical-weapons attack. It is a long-range, all-weather, subsonic cruise missile.

10.APACHE(Boeing USA)

The Boeing AH-64 Apache is an American four-blade, twin-turboshaft attack helicopter with a tailwheel-type landing gear.Despite being Introduced as early as 1975, it still holds its ground as one of the most lethal and agile aircraft that has ever been manufactured.


A third-generation main battle tank built in the United States. Currently, it is one of the best Military Battle Tanks in the world. It is planned that this tank will remain in service beyond 2050. The M1A2 has been exported to Kuwait (218) and Saudi Arabia (457).
